TRAIL SYSTEM – A WINTER PLAYGROUND
Thanks to the volunteer efforts of club members, the Trailblazers look after an extensive network of trails covering approximately 485kms in the Whitecourt area. The Trailblazers work in partnership with Alberta Sustainable Resource Development, Woodlands County and the Town of Whitecourt.

Staging Areas
The staging areas are open to snowmobilers free of charge during the snowmobile season. The gates remain locked until the trails open for the season.

Location: 10 minutes south of Whitecourt on Hwy #32 towards Edson
Features: ample parking, warm-up shelter with stove, firepit, firewood, outdoor bathroom, picnic tables, garbage can, recycle bin
Rent it! The Staging Areas are Available for Summer Use
The Eagle River and Groat Creek Staging Areas are available for rent from May long weekend to October long weekend (Thanksgiving).
Reservations can be made starting January 2nd of each year by calling 780-778-3443 or 1-800-313-7383 or by emailing info@whitecourttrailblazers.ca. A deposit must be made within 10 days of the booking date.
Warm-Up Shelters
Enjoy one of these rest areas located on the trails. Pack it in, pack it out.

Location: on the Carson Trail/Golden Triangle/TransCanada Trail northeast of the Eagle River Staging Area towards Swan Hills

Look-Outs
Take a break and enjoy the view. These look-outs are recent additions to the trail system.

Trail Grooming
The groomer is out on the trails as snow conditions warrant so be aware that you could meet it.
