CLUB UPDATES

TRAILS:
Crews have started heading out scouting troubled areas on the trail system in the north and south.  We are trying to identify hazards and areas that require repairs, mulching, etc.  In the past couple of weeks, trails in the north and south have had some extensive work completed.  A few other areas have been identified and plans are being made to make more repairs/reclamation.    Thanks to Derek, Don, Jeff, Richard, Verne and Dave N.
We are looking for Adopt-A-Trail teams, if you would like to help us out, please contact either the Trail Bosses or Cindy at info@whitecourttrailblazers.ca

FACILITIES:
It’s the 10th Anniversary of the Summit Cabin – October 2012 after the original shelter was burned down.
The Summit Warm Up Shelter (Sponsored by TriJet Services and GM MacRitchie Services) was mowed, raked, cabin washed out, outhouse cleaned, Trims and doors painted, Trim on the Gable has been replaced.  Thanks to our helpers – Jeff Brooks, Robin Sebo, Cindy Brooks, Darrel Grenier and Troy Birtles.  Thank you for your equipment donations for the clean-up: Whitecourt Service Centre, Paul Sierens and Herc Rentals.
Carson Warm Up Shelter and Gundy Warm Up Shelters will need some TLC very soon, as well as stocking wood.
