Most trails have been groomed and are in very good condition.  Only the Triangle Trail north of Carson Shelter is ungroomed but has good snow.  Ride with caution and share the trail.

Thank you to all the volunteers and groomer drivers who have worked hard to prepare the trails for the riding season!

Trail grooming has been ongoing this week. Goodwin Lake Trail to Summit shelter and back along Summit trail was groomed on Friday. Most trails north of Athabasca river have been groomed too. Water crossings still are hazardous. Use caution on all trails.

Both groomers are out this week on the trails. Some fresh snow has fallen but hazards still exist at water crossings. Parts of the Mcleod River are frozen and some sleds are crossing.  Use caution. 

A lot of riders are out so share the trail and ride safe!

WINTER MANIA – THANK YOU

Winter Mania was a great success! Thanks to all who participated and volunteered! The event (held on December 1) was a fundraiser for the Whitecourt Royal Canadian Air Cadets 721 Hawk Squadron.

SANTA CLAUS PARADE – BEST SERVICE CLUB FLOAT

Congratulations to Kim Benesch and all who helped out with our club float in the Whitecourt Santa Claus parade on Friday, November 29. We won “Best Service Club Float”!

It’s REALLY snowing now!!  Trails are snow covered and creeks still pose some hazards.  Rivers are NOT frozen.  The groomers are being moved today and grooming program will commence asap.  Lots of people are out riding.  Use caution and ride at your own risk as always.  Thank you for supporting organized snowmobiling by purchasing trail passes, only $60 per sled for a season pass.
