Hey folks it’s that time of year, plan to attend our annual guided ride to see what we are all about and enjoy your day on the trails.
Backcountry Avalanche Workshop is back this year. Last year Mark Bender spoke about the tragic Avalanche at the Renshaw. This year he will speak about snowmobiling close calls from the 2016-17 season. There were many… (fortunately no fatalities)… so there is lots to learn from this presentation. Time and interest allowing, they will also have a presentation on Avalanche Canada website tools and resources, which is helpful for everyone to know how to get the most out of the avalanche forecast, as well as other resources (e.g. weather, MIN, etc.).
